Medics’ Inn are pleased to offer two £200 elective bursaries each year. Successful applicants can choose to use the bursary to reduce their overall programme fee or receive the naira equivalent once they arrive in Nigeria. Only participants of the Medics’ Inn Elective Programme are eligible for this bursary. Application is by short written submission of up to 500 words to medicalelective@medicsinn.com. Selection of the winners will be on the basis of:
- Your reasons for choosing Nigeria as an elective location
- Evidence of benefit to your personal development
- Evidence of benefit to your community
Once all applications have been received a panel comprising of Medics’ Inn representatives will review the applications against the above criteria.On return from your elective, students will be asked to provide a short report on their elective experiences during their elective which will be published on Medics’ Inn website and circulated in emails with our online community.
